Kermode Naturals products are produced by Canadian Pacific Phytoplankton Ltd. - formulator and marketer of Natural Health Products, Skin Care Products, Beverages and Functional Foods that contain vitamins, minerals and phytoplankton harvested from the ocean. The key ingredients we include in our finished products are Pacific Purity PlasmaTM, UMAC®, CellanktonTM, CellomentsTM and CellatonTM. We partner with producers of complimentary active ingredients to formulate and blend innovative products that carry structured function claims and monographs recognized by international regulators.

Pacific Purity Plasma "Ocean Elements" - Is a white paste of concentrated ocean elements and minerals. It contains only phytoplankton which is naturally present at the time of collecting the water. This process takes two days to produce and is also a batch process. This ingredient is used in cosmetics, skin care, nutraceuticals, and as a base for a liquid organic fertilizer. UMAC® - Is a light green paste comprised of Pacific Purity Plasma and phytoplankton in its finished raw material form. It is produced by pumping ocean water directly from the North Pacific into one or more of Unique Sea Farms Ltd. one million litre tanks. Phytoplankton is naturally present in the water. The multiplying phytoplankton is fed nutrients to accelerate growth, and when the time is right for harvesting the phytoplankton the batch the cells are ruptured using a proprietary process. The paste is then collected and sent to either be dried to a powder or turned into a liquid. This process takes 8 to 10 days. This ingredient is used in our cosmetics, skin care, functional food for animals and humans and nutraceuticals. It comes in a powdered or liquid format.
CellanktonTM - Is a golden brown concentrate of pure phytoplankton in its finished raw material form. It is produced by pumping ocean water directly from the North Pacific into one or more of Unique Sea Farms Ltd. one million litre tanks. Phytoplankton is naturally present in the water. The multiplying phytoplankton is fed nutrients which accelerate the growth and when the time is right, the phytoplankton is harvested on a continuous basis with the cells intact. This process takes 8 to 10 days before initial harvesting can begin. The golden brown concentrate is then collected and sent either to be dried to a powder or turned into a liquid. The cells are cracked during the process to make the high grade actives bio-available.
